Some images of the walk from Rankinston to Waterside

    Setting off from Rankinston

following the line of a disused railway

round to the site of Lethanhill village

where only the war memorial still stands.

    Here come the Ooters!

Crossing a wee burn, Ooters style.

Continuing along the line of a disused railway to Corbie Craigs

The upper reaches of the Dunaskin glen

Crossing a barbed wire fence, Ooters style.

Taking lunch beside the ruins of the miners' row at Corbie Craigs.

The folk at Corbie Craigs would have had a good view of the Galloway Hills.

Dropping down into the Dunaskin glen

    Holly

Reaching the end of another great day oot with the Ooters!
