Following the cancellation of the Wardlaw walk, Allan, Dougie, Ian, Paul and Robert joined Rex for a walk from his house. Leaving just after eleven o’clock, we walked to the cycle path and then followed it down to Greenan Shore. Passing underneath the castle we stayed on the beach until we got to the Millennium Bridge, from where we made our way back up to the cars at Rex’s. Five miles or so in about an hour and fifty minutes on a sparkling winter's day.
